My friend have bought me out from my current
machine since he thougt it was no need for further
development. He does not understand the inspiration
it is to always trying to do the machine better.
However I'm building a new machine and this
time I have a budget. This time I will try
to solve the problem with running at depth
deeper than 50 meters (150 feet) with good
stability and resolution. The limitations for
the machine my friend have is the weight, it
was to much to handle by hand. A of course
the price for a long cable.
The weight I plan to add more flexible in a
separate towfish. The new size will be 85 cm
(less than 3 feet) and around 8-10 Kg.
Right now the new PCB:s is in a iterating
process between me and the CAD man and will
hopefully end up in a set of electronics with
industrial quality.
The stainless mechanics drawings is half ready
but this time it will be only the half tooling
work since I have optimized the construction a bit.
I hope I will be able to post photos during the
building even if I have limited access to a scanner.
