  • Non GPR Underground imaging?

Does anyone know anything about the equipment sold by:

    Future Treasure (http://www.futuretreasure.com/products/index.html)

    or

    Accurate Locators (http://www.accuratelocators.com/gems_index.html)

They appear to be some kind of "passive" recievers using a computer to build a map or image of the output signal.

Are they recording the earths magnetic field? Or using some kind of radio signal?

Any information on how they work, or even if they work would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Carl

    they use electromagnetic imaging.

The sensors pickup changes in the local magnetic field caused by just about any kind of change in the ground. Even a recently dug hole that has been refilled will cause a detectable change and generate an image from those changes. Usually a color map of some kind representing a change up, down or unchanged.

Future Treasure used to try and advertise their units as ground penetrating radar but don't be fooled, they aren't.

      Gems by Accurtatelocators

      Dear Sir,

Could you please let me know if the Gems by Accuratelocators really work?
Are they suitable systems for treasure hunting?

      Regards,
      Reza
