Sidescan sonar software - SonarTRX v10.9
An updated version of SonarTRX has just been released. SonarTRX can generate geo-referenced images from sidescan sonar recordings from low cost fishfinders with sidescan capabilities and also supports XTF and recordings from Imagenex.
New features (v10.9):
- Enhanced viewer functionality
- Ability to define waypoints (targets) from the built-in viewer & export to csv.
- Export XYZ file from recording for bathymetric processing/gridding
- Estimation of transducer altitude from sonar time-series data (Beta version)

Here is a sample screen-shot from an XTF sample file downloaded from Triton's website. Five waypoints indicating the wing-tips and fuselage were added to the list of "targets" associated with the xtf file:
