Low cost side scan

I'm new to this forum and would like to know of a low cost side scan sonar that could be used on a 5.5m diving RIB. any prices or links would be appreciated.

The least expensive new sidescan unit that is in production that I have seen costs around $12,500. After that, the prices go over $20,000.


It is a small unit that can be easily deployed from a small boat (so says the marketing literature.


I don't have the web site readily available, but will try to locate it and post it later.

The least expensive commercial sidescan that I have found is the C-Scan 450. It looks like it could be deployed from a pretty small boat. You can find it at the site listed below:
