Fishfinder Transducers

believe it or not, I placed an "WANTED ... Broken Transducers" ad on a fishing elctronics forum asking to buy (cheaply) any old transducers that someone might have laying around.


Less than a day later, someone offered to send me a few of them for free that he was keeping in his garage.


When I get them, I'll tear them open and post a couple of photos.


The internet is such a great tool. That, and digital cameras ... too cool.

Yes digital cameras are cool. And getting cheap! Perhaps I will have to put one of those in a towfish someday!


I'm looking forward to seeing the transducer photos.


When you take them apart, try to figure out what went wrong. This may save us from making the same mistake!
