  • Echo example

I am looking for a recorded echo(s) of a sidescan to use as test signal.

It will make testing much easier.

    Hi

What kind of specs do you have in mind ?

    A number of lines 8 bit x 512 samples/ channels

    is what I have.

      Sture,

I was thinking about signal coming from the transducer.

I will be needing something to test my echo processing.

The echo you have will be very usefull.

I suppose its not "raw" echo but already an echo processed by a DSP card. (I.e. DAC output)

I could use this data to test if I will use a DSP card or see if the PIC is powerful enough to do the signal processing also.

(Love these PIC's.... can change whole setup by just reprogramming a few pins... hehe)

Perhaps you could send file to Carl, so he can put it on the forum's Project Files folder.

        Re: Echo example

        Sure..

I will search for the CD. By the way I don't process

my data with DSP, only a minor filtering.

          Sture,

Glad to hear that.... means my filter can be simple also.

            Re: Echo example

My filtering is bandpass in the towfish as showed

in the schematics. One more bandpass in the

upside amplifier and a anti-alias filter before

the ADC, a RC lowpass filter.
