I Can't Register... Why?
Due to the growing number of spammers, I've had to tighten registration a bit. You will need to complete the registration/verification process in order to post:
1. You MUST provide a valid email address
2. Registration will not be completed until you receive an email with a verification link
3. If you don't get the email within 5-10 minutes, check your spam/junk folder
4. Unverified registrations are automatically deleted after 3 days
Also, because many "free" email accounts have been the overwhelming choices of spammers, I have banned registration using a number of email services.
If you get a response that your email service is banned, here is what you need to do:
1. Contact the admins and request manual registration
2. Provide the username you would like to have (you will be given a temporary password)
3. Requests should be in English.

Note: We constantly receive emails from people who simply say "Can't register", "Register me", "Why can't I register?", or garbled messages, or not written in English. We will not respond to these emails. If you want us to set up an account for you manually, than please request a username you would like to have. Without a supplied username your request will be ignored.

I Can't Log In... Why?
Robot spammers often create an account, but never validate the account. Any account that has not been validated after 3 days is automatically deleted. If you failed to validate your account within 3 days, simply create it again, and validate.
If you once had an account but it's gone, here is why:
Any account which has zero postings AND has been unused for a year is automatically deleted.
Most of these accounts are spammers. Once an account has made even a single posting, it is never deleted. So if you registered a long time ago and only browsed the forums, and you now find your account name is no longer valid, simply re-register and make a single posting.
If you've simply forgotten your password, try the reset-password feature. Remember to check your spam/junk folder for emails. If this does not work, contact the admins. We can reset it manually.
I Can't See Attachments (etc)... Why?
When you first register you start out in a restricted state where you cannot view attachments, or use the PM system, plus a few other things. As soon as you make a FIRST POST you are elevated to Regular Member, with all benefits and privileges thereof. If you have nothing to say, then just pick any thread and post a reply with whatever. Again, the reason for this is mitigation of spam activity.
Because of the restricted state, your first post CANNOT include an attachment or a link.
I Can't Edit/Delete My Post... Why?
When you Submit a new posting, you have a 30-minute window in which you can make edits. After that, it is locked down and cannot be edited or deleted except by Admin. The reason for this is to preserve the integrity of conversations. Forums which allow open-ended edit/delete are subject to people later changing what they said or, worse, deciding to delete all their posts and leaving gaping holes in the threads. This is similar to ordinary speech: once you say something, you cannot unsay it. If you said something you want to later change, then just post a follow-up.
