Hi, I'm trying to wind a new coil for my GOLDPIC Pi unit
According to the instructions you need to wind 27 turns of 0.5mm enameled single strand copper with a diameter of 190mm (7.6inch) But I'm planning to build a bigger one for these deep targets.... Now my questions.... I've seen at Hays electronics
some coil housings wich can fit my coil but I'm not sure if I can use a rectangular one (ie: 8" x 5 1/2" Coil Housing) and don't know how many winds need to fit this housing....
Any help will be appreciated, please give me some info, I need it to search a "high productive" spot I've found deep in the woods (how knows, may be a little hoard since I've dug 21 silver coins in only 2x2m....).
