The idea is very good but your schema contains small errors. There are several junction too much. The same can make still more simply at the use only one 4053. I do so for a long time. I greet

Sorry no Gerber files (I have to leave you SOME work to do). The PCB is 15mm square so it will fit inside ANY machine.

I have a version which can switch search heads too so you can fit a probe to your machine. In fact I have a version which can change over whole sections of internal circuitry to enable multi mode operation.

stacked disc notch

It seems to me that the tesoro pantera used a stacked disc control for notch width and a toggle for notch accept/reject.
Iliked that feature and maybe someone could provide a schematic.

Need some ideas.
I would like to have two disc features.
Disc 1 for standard detector disc. mode as per stock detector
toggle switchable to
Disc 2 a variable notch system using two pots to vary disc. from two extremes. Or disc. as narrow as possible to find particular coin or coins...

What's the easiest way to do this?
