If you're burning chips PROBABLY the connections from your programmer to your Atmega chip are wrong.
Even if you don't succeed in programming the chip it should not burn, it will only show you that there's an error and ask you to remove the programmer and try again.
What Windows version are you using? I've used Windows 7 (wasn't easy to install) at first but since couple of weeks I've upgraded to Windows 10 and Extreme Burner doesn't seems to be working, so I've installed virtual Windows XP (Oracle VM Box) and worked like a charm.
There's a new version of the hex 3.05 here it is:

Hi all
Thanks for your reply eclipse but i don t have the habit with atmega and avrdudess (i prefer using microchip pics).
Perhaps someone could help us to brun this ,step by step?
(I allready broke 2 of them!!!!)
Thanks a lot

I think the problem is MD's might not be allowed where they live. Maybe the unregulated loss of historical artifacts to the open market (or in the case of precious metal artifacts simply sold on to be melted down in some gold bazaar), and damage to sites, drove such a policy ?

You must have missed my later post (#189) where I said:Originally posted by scrungy_doolittle View PostThat is just not true. We use a 4 bit interface to an lcd, and just leave the unused lines alone. it works just fine.
If you remember, the original comment was that the schematic was incorrect, and pins 7, 8, 9 and 10 were not connected to ground on the PCB, when (in fact) you can see they are connected to the ground plane. Therefore the schematic does not contain an error.Originally posted by Qiaozhi View PostSome people leave these pins floating, and it still seems to work; but in general it's good practice to ground them in case of spurious signals.
Whatever ... pins 7, 8, 9 and 10 are connected to GND (VSS) on the original PCB.
"To ground or not to ground" was a later question. Personally I always ground the unused data inputs on the LCD. There are many varieties of these LCDs, with the connectors placed in in every conceivable location, and even different pin ordering. To add to the confusion, the font maps are also different. None of these LCDs conform to any sort of standard, so I think it's wise to assume the same situation applies to the electrical interface. However, it does appear that the Felezfoo PI designer agrees with me, as he also grounded the unused pins.

I am using those displays for over the 15 years and so far i never tied those pins to ground too.Originally posted by scrungy_doolittle View PostThat is just not true. We use a 4 bit interface to an lcd, and just leave the unused lines alone. it works just fine.
Whatever...
...
I also obtained Arduino Mega the other day. 2.4" TFT with touch, Lan shield, dozen various sensors, two relay boards, few MINI PRO's etc...etc... a BUNCH it is!
I am making IoT these days, just finished web server, have lot of other things to do on that subject too.
That's why i have to put this aside for couple weeks.
But am restless to continue.
More i learn and work around Arduino; more am impressed with this felezjoo project and quantity of options implemented in it.
I am sure author is extraordinary expert.
Really would like to put my hands on source some day!

Would the problem be mine detection and removal?Originally posted by michael View PostHi everybody. I see some people are in doubt about this MD abilities.
Be sure it really worthies to be made. I’m one of the first ones who made it.
It is very stable and powerful.
It can detect with an appropriate 23 Cm coil up to 120 Cm. and with 1m x 1m coil 4 meters or more.
Mr. Hamid is really a genius it’s my honor that he is my compatriot who presented this MD free of any charge to his compatriots for solving one of their most important problems.
Wish Best things for you.

That is just not true. We use a 4 bit interface to an lcd, and just leave the unused lines alone. it works just fine.Originally posted by Qiaozhi View PostLooks fine to me. LCD pins 7,8,9 and 10 are all connected to VSS (which is GND in this design) via the ground plane. Also, when using an LCD with a 4-wire interface, the remaining data pins must to be connected to GND, otherwise it will not work.

ROTFLMAO! are you serious? Just try me.Originally posted by WM6 View PostIs this real, that you Nokia LCD is in life, or there are only printed sticker foil over it?
Congratulation. Good start - as always from you.
You cannot decompile source code cause in Persian it is written from right to left.

The appliance is installed and works excellently. When changing settings, there is a very good discrimination. Unlike many other pulse metal detectors discrimination has a much wider range of separation of metals. Furthermore tests were made with a standard coil. Menu provides simple change all desired settings.

Could a colleague to change the program so as to terminate the counter for 300 launch.
