I have made two malysh pinpointer with both suggested chips, 629 and 675. With 675 the detector is not stable enough running, to use in the field, both LED's are blinking. But with 629 I realy like to use it on the beach and field. But malysh is not useable in ground with high mineralisation, like volcanic ground.Here is my digging tool while air test and with 629.*https://youtu.be/-Yhz2j0fwno

For not blink both LEDs enter diode (D2 1N4001) and everything will work OK.

You confirm my suspicion about chip 675 usage; it's the only point that could be do the difference since I have already verified every other things on circuit and it's seems OK.
I will looking for a new chip to try!

- MalishFM2 V2 Eddy71 schematic
- my master design
- PIC12F675
- loaded firmware is MetFM2_675_v2.hex (2 june 2015)

I'm not sure in what I see in the picture, but it seems that the screen covers the entire coil. There must be a small interval of about 0.3-0.5 sentiments that the screen stays open.

Leave it behind, its not work on the soil, especially on vulcanic soil.

I ve fix it
It was only a wrong piezzo élément and a wrong led placement but there is an another big problèmes it is too sensitive on EMI even far from it son will try to make minimax PP wich is quiest then malysh

Strange mine worked fine around the house. Found wires behind the wall. Just didn't work so will in the ground. Moving around a hole and it would randomly go off.
