The stem shown in your picture is not an original Nexus one. Someone must have replaced it at some time with some poor quality parts.

We have just received an report for this case and want to inform you that we don't know about this inconvenience.
We have many-many clients from all over the world every day and we haven't unsatisfied clients, that's why i guarantee that the lower shaft and middle shaft will be send immediately, as we receive the address of the client.
In addition will be send a present - carry bag for metal detector as compensation.
We have 3 step control method before sending of the detectors and that's very strange about this mistake.
If really this happen that problem is in our staff and we are very sorry.

-during times i work with more than 6-10 detectors (fisher 1266,1270/m.explorer 1 and 2/tesoro tejon(my preffered)garret 2500 and ace 250/fisher cz7 a pro/) and i can tell you GOLDEN MASK 2 ITS NOT A BAD DETECTOR,special for this money.my problem was with "MDETECTORS"who forget to send my shafts and coil screw.
-i dont want to create stupid situation between you guys-i like to think this is a CONSTRUCTIVE forum
-in picture is what have i done at home with super glue and pipes and shafts from othe detectors

It seems that mdetectors.com are going to resolve the problem.
But you might now also need a replacement top shaft.
