hello, yes, set is that in original board say "SW1". I think its mean "SWITCH". in Alex pics there is not connections to those holes.
and yes, functionally this holes being closed recharge C14. have to check a necessity of this circuit.
I did add some 3 tantalums on every IC, doubled some lines, left all layout being near to original.

looks like only one potentiometer on board does it have more adjustment pots

two trimmers on board. one for offset, one for delay preset. second one may be changed on a resistor.
two pots. for delay tuning and threshold.
