I have 5 vintage Tek detectors that will soon go up on eBay. I'm offering them here first to see if anyone is interested. They are:
Mark 1
Mark 1 Ltd
8000
9000
Roadrunner
All work except the 8000. However, all except the Roadrunner have broken battery terminals that plagued the old Teks. I opened the 8000 and the crystal had fallen off the PCB (another recurring problem) so I re-soldered it. Still not working, and that's as far as I looked. The 8000 & 9000 look like they were barely used, the 9000 LCD works fine. The Mark 1's look lightly used, the Roadrunner has a few plastic chips but otherwise decent. This is the only Roadrunner I've ever seen.
My preference is to sell them all at once, make me an offer. Also might be interested in a trade, tell me what you have. Especially wanting a PT-92, I'll add cash for that.
I'll only ship to the US-lower 48, beyond that will be expensive.
