A client just brought me a Minelab Quattro for service.
But unfortunately, the detectors come to me for service often too late, when some "master" has already done his job and caused a lot more damage with his "knowledge".
It is always much easier to repair a detector when nobody has touched it but it comes to me in its original condition.
Serbia is full of overambitious "masters" who know everything. And that is why Serbia has become the world's largest graveyard of detectors.
I've had an Explorer XS and an Explorer SE in the past, but never had to service them, so I wasn't really interested in looking under the hood.
Is it possible to find parts of the schematic of the smaller pcb of the two, which obviously houses the power supply part as well as the audio part?
In the worst case, maybe a list of the original components and their position on that pcb? -
