  • Looking for GS5 Lite PCB

I created the Gerbers and signed up to JLC the cost was ok until I went to check out then the shipping jumped to $55!

So does anyone have a spare board or two to sell? I'm in USA in FLA on the treasure coast so I'd like to get a nice PI going!

    Thanks!

I chose that, then on the shipping page, there was only 2 options $55 and $57. It said some destinations have only these choices...

I just went through the samething. I also live in Florida. Since the tariffs and Iran conflict shipping went from $28 to $48. This last order I only had one design $8 for the 5 pcbs, not wanting to pay for DHL, I used what pito highlighted above, Global Direct option it was only $3.95. I figured it would take 3 or 4 weeks. The boards came in 8 days. No tariffs only Florida sales tax. The boards enter the USA in 3 days. Then a company called GOFO delivers to you.

there is one more think, if the value of the PCB itself is over i think $110 then Global Direct option is not available

              Hi Altra
There's no PCB printing house in the US...?
We print them at Bulgarian printing houses.
The money stays in the state.
Almost everyone on the forum orders the boards from China.

Yes we have board makers here in the US. They are 5 times more expensive than China. This is due to the high cost of labor and intense environmental regulations. They also specialize in military and medical assemblies where they can charge what ever they want. I would love to buy here, but it doesn't make economic sense.
