I still need a few copies to finish my set of second series (Volume 6, Number 1 to Volume 12, Number 6) ... 6-2, 6-4, 7-1, 10-2. I will take any issue earlier than Volume 6 in any quantity or condition and also want single copies of all book and equipment lists. I can also use some issues of Exanimo Express send list or copy first pages. I can pay top dollar or trade. Later this year I will have a very limited number of copies of NPG to trade for other newspaper style treasure tabloids that I need. Once my sets are filled I will only trade these for KvM materials. I also need one of the Exanimo silver arrowheads (mine grew legs on the neck of an ex-wife), Exanimo sold pendulums of the Puget and Abbe Mermet style, P.A.T.H. Guild items and other ephemera. Clean those closets and attics. Harley Bissell

possible lead for you...
Hi there Harley,
What an interesting post. Karl Von Mueller has been one of my VERY large hero's for a good quarter of a century. I've never owned any of the PG's but I'm thinking that Floy Mann just might. He has quite an extensive collection of Dean Millers older stuff, so you may do well to try him at least. Also, wow, didn't know about the pendulums our wonderful mentor also made and sold, So many years ago already.
I see the fella in the post below has two nicer older Vols. Do you have those already? if you do, I just may come back here and ask him what he is asking for them. :-)
Do you ever get over to the THunting.com, forum? It's turning in to a real good place to meet and rub shoulders with some fellow TH'ers. I'm on there quite often, look me up if ya get over that way. Look forward to talking with you anytime about anything to do with the Dean of Treasure Writers...
Have a good one,
LarryB
Good luck in your quest Harleyman!

This is the Geotech forum, hosted by Geotech, a subsidiary of THunting.com, which has its own forums. If this isn't clear, then my attempts at obfuscation have succeeded.

PG's ...
Hi Carl, thanx for clearing that up for the boys there. Jim would you consider trading something for one of your spare copies? I would love to own one copy of this old paper before I pass on to the big detecting field in the sky...

Floyd Mann is a friend and provided many of my copies when he purchased the literary estate of a famous collector. I did not state that KvM manufactured pendulums or any other dowsing device. I said that there were ads in the NPG from a man who made and sold Puget pendulums. Any person who was not a crook could place an ad in NPG at prices as low as $5 per insertion. Crooks couldn't get back in no matter what they offered to pay. Since am familiar with your writing style and think I know who you are I'll make this offer. email me with a mailing address and I'll send you a copy of the Prospector's Gazette. That offer is made to LarryB only. I don't have enough copies to send them out to all requesters. I have saved links to every treasure hunting related site I've heard of. Some I check daily, some weekly, some monthly and some very rarely. regards, harley bissell - [email protected]

The nicest people...
Howdy,
Just spent this past week playing the computer techy-geek with my totally crashed PC. Luckily for me it all paid off and it is now running better than ever. Man, it feels SO good to get back out in the web world again!
First place I stopped into when I got her fired up, was right here! Wow, Mr Bissell, you Sir, are too kind. I am flabergasted by your most kind offer! I'll send my snail mail addy to you in a seperate email, as per your note. Please, let me know if I can help you, in any way, for anything, in the future! It is SO refreshing to find such quality folks like yourself, on this forum.
Note to self;
Send note to Carl re: Fantastic job of drawing great people to this forum of his and for keeping them around!
So, once more Harleyman, you are too Kool my friend. Thanx again so much for your extremely generous NPG offer to this 'ol Canuk Th'er!
Have a Super day!

Karl Von Mueller aka Dean Miller
I was at Karl's store in June or July 1977. Walked in, no one around. So I went to the back. Karl and another man I do not know had a whole table full of paper money. This had been found in Mexico. They were counting and putting it in 50cal ammo boxes. I scared the H out of them. I built two of Karl's taper sluice boxes and they work far better than any other's I had built. Also built and sold 10 of his vibrating Gold Washer. A super great working Item. Done well with one at Gold Dust, NM. I found Karl to be truthful 96% of the time. Bought my first Garrett Master Hunter BFO and Spartan 175 units from him. The Zero drift wiped the other BFO units out. I remember D-Tex's famous adds " if they don't drift, they aren't sensitive". What a crop of BS old Bill Mahn put out. The Old D-Tex need three hand to keep them tuned. Was one on Ebay not long ago. The old gold one with the straight stem with two coils. Still have the Master hunter and it still works. Best unit made to hunt old homes with. What happen to Karl's stuff and his son?
Sincerely
Tiretramp aka Errol Calvert

karl's stuff
The shop detector collection from Weeping water passed to the Tainter's. It was sold a year or two ago. Whatever else Karl had that was not destroyed in the fire would have passed to his daughter. Gladyce passed away a few years ago. Karl's son is no longer involved in treasure hunting at last report. I had a location (town name) for him a few years back but didn't contact him. regards, harley
