This tesoro mayan works, i have a lot of hours on it, but the last time i took it out, it would not hold threshold. It would work fine for a while then after a couple of minutes i would have to re ground balance.Tesoro is very good about repairing thier porducts so it is probably worth sending in for repair.Look a the pictures it has some paint issues and i added the forearm strap but it is just on with velcro so can be removed easily.Just ask if you have any ?s I have a downloaded manual somewhere i'll include.

NOS Gold Mountain "King Cobra" Metal Detector W Orig Owners Manual

good chance for someone. King Cobra in EF cond for low price.

At auction is a Gold Mountain metal detectors King Cobra. This is a brand-new machine that was discovered in our warehouse. I have the original owners manual for it. But do not have a box.

I did find a simple flaw on this detector. The battery cover is held by two plastic pins. One of the pins does not secure into the detector head very well or at all. It could be simply replace with the screw or something like that. This unit runs on eight AA batteries. But I advise the new owner not to pull the battery case out by the wires as they are tucked in there very intricately.

I just got done air testing this machine, and took it outside and ground tested it. It worked perfectly. Along with the discrimination and notch accept and reject.
