What kind of detector is this? It looks a lot like the hand drawn hybrid pulse

Hi,
I had a look at the schematic.... OMG... this was a horrible attempt to "re-draw" the original published Pulstar I schematic. The Pulstar I (I think that is the correct name) was available as a DIY kit probably in the late 1980's to early 1990's in Germany. The price was about 129,- German Marks (approx. 65,- Euro).

By the way this detector was not a Hyprid PI detector. This detector is more or less a simple one which samples only once like the PI Polones and Co... The Surf PI, MiniPulse, Barracuda or Hammerhead should perfom much better than this one.

It's a fake scheme, it has nothing to do with the pulse star scheme.. I've known that scheme for a long time... As you said, nothing special.. And it has absolutely nothing to do with the hybrid pulse...Because of this fake scheme, many people were mistaken for many years that the pulse star 2 scheme exists on the Internet.

check the spelling... I wrote "Pulstar I" and not "Pulse Star II". I know that this is a different detector and has nothing to do with the real Pulse Star detector you refer to. This schematic was also reprinted in the German Elektor book "Das Kompendium der Metalldetektoren" by Rolf Wilhelm from 2001.

i can't disgrace you but see even TL084 also is 8pin

TL084 it's 14 pin. TL084 is A1, A2, A3 and A4 IC. The LF357 is separate IC and should have 8 legs as shown in the diagram
