Problem with Gary's Pulse-2

I built Gary's Pulse-2 with mono coil.But when i connect the coil and then power it will be short circuit.Please help me.

Hi ALL : I think LM1117A will do the same job as REG1117A cause both of them are low drop out voltage regulator but not just the said LM317.- Anyway ask GARY at Chemelec, I can tell he´s very kind.- Best regards.

I use KIA7810A and it is work.You redesign for (2V dropout) KIA7810A or UA7810.
