Until Step 3 averything was perfect (1,058 kHz on TP1, pulse width ca. 58us).
I've just finished Step 4 (at least soldiering). I've connecter 1k pot in place of R1 to be able to change it's value. I've made a "temporary coil" that is about 350uH 1,8ohm (basket coil 10x8 made of AWG24 enemalled copper winding wire). I don' know much about osciloscopes, but that's what I got on my old scopometer: https://drive.google.com/folderview?...00&usp=sharing
And here I need your kind assistance: I don't know if it is OK.

I got my pcb all built but I ordered the wrong part for the 4538's. I got
SMT on those too! I was ordering for another project that is all SMT so
I guess I had that on my mind. Well I'll have to order a few adapters
from across the ocean so I won't have it running today...
I like the design and setup. I'm hoping it works good with one of
those Chance Basket coils. I might buy some more Litz (now that
I know what I'm doing) and build a perfect one.
It would be nice if someone made a housing for this style coil.

Just started to build MPP
Hallo!
I've just started to build my MPP and almost finished Step 3 (I need to buy Q2, R5 and Cxx so I need to wait until saturday
).
After Step 2 I have voltages -4,92V and +5,02V.
I am going to build 8'x10' basket coil made of 175x46 Litz wire. I wonder whether I should buy single od double layer wire and how much wire do I need.Tags: None
