Will running the minipulse plus on 11.1v effect performance?

Hey guys just looking at rechargeable batteries for my minipulse. The batteries im looking at are 3.7v each so i was looking at running 3 in series to get 11.1 volts. Will running 11.1v effect performance in any way? I did read it can run as low as 8.4 but i wasnt sure if running under 12v will hinder performance in any way

11.1V will be fine for the MPP.

Yep, works fine. Three 18650's give me more time then I'm good for hunting on a few detectors I have.

Cool awesome. Thats what im looking at using. Noticed theres usb chargers on ebay for them (assembled circuit boards) for like $1 so can charge it via usb using 3 and also use my usb solar charger if im out in the sticks. Anybody found a case thats good for housing the mini pulse and holds batteries without having to unscrew it? Just looking at how i can attach batteries reliably
