Cheapo meter not have bandwidth to measure voltage of 14khz sine accurately, to measure peak to peak you need scope.
Besides most cheapo multimeter cannot measure Vpp, only RMS at 50/60hz
I do not have any Hz Coils tx how much voltage should be on the electrodes I have only less than 2 volts
I suspect your mulrimeter can not handle AC with >10kHz, like dbanner said. Buy one of crazy cheap oscilloscopes DSO 138 or 150. Then you can see, what null actually mean and can measure voltages AC with higher frequencies. Troubleshooting metal detector with poor multimeter is extremely hard task for not skilled electronic enthusiast. How many times I wrote this?
