Coil for Voodoo

G’day. I’m building a Voodoo, but I’m struggling to understand which coil to buy. If I’ve got it right, I just need any VLF coil. The coils listed in the book are not easy to find in my country, and self-building might be something for the future. Do you think I could use a Bounty Hunter tk4 coil and still get good results? They’re quite cheap. Any suggestion would be very much appreciated. Cheers

Refer to Table 6-1 on page 75.
Try to find a coil with a TX inductance between 300uH and 1mH. The RX inductance is not so important, as you only need to calculate a suitable value for the tuning capacitor.
