Does your computer induction meter also measure capacitance? It would be interesting to measure the capacitance of the guitar cable as well.

That is good if the cable length is 33" or longer!

I made it a little long, 39" and measured through the plug connector. I may shorten it when prepared for use. Just a mite rough!

Very good! If you can cut 4 to 6" off of it that will be great low capacitance. I generally make mine about 33" long to allow for some length adjustment.

0.9pf/inch is very good.

i have been impressed with the guitar cable i used, i mentioned in an other thread professional audio cable suppliers also sell a 2 wire 1 shield cable thats ok for dd coils on pi, and even multi wire versions used for wiring studios that may work for dd and concentric for vlf's, in the kind of lengths we need its not really expensive either.
the dd i wound for the barracuda works fine with the mic cable version i just put red tx+,white rx+ braid to - rx and tx, the shield also connected to braid, and it works fine though some pi's may need the - lines separating.
