If someone could measure & reply with the passive inductance & resistance of these coils I would greatly appreciate it! - Minelab Commander 8" round mono, Coiltek Goldstalker 6" round mono, Whites TDI either 7.5" or 12" coil (if it is a mono or if not what kind of coil it is) - many thanks!

I have a TDI 12" Pulse Scan Dual Field coil. It has an inside coil of 6" with a concentric outside 12" coil. The coils are connected in series. The overall inductance is 368 uH. The resistance is 3.2 ohms.
I don't have the other coils that you referenced but I have measured several Mono coils that are used on Minelab GPX series detectors. They were all very close to 300 uH. The resistance varies from 0.35 to 0.7 ohms.

Awesome, many thx Chet! That information is quite useful. I've been increasingly interested in how the basketweave coil compares to the standard wound mono coil. So the Minelab coils have a similar passive inductance but a much lower passive resistance than the basketweave coils, hmmm, I thought that might be the case but didn't realize the ohms were that low, & the TDI coil[s] have a higher inductance than the bw - makes me curious how they are able to sample at 10uS. What are your thoughts - would the TDI coil be considered a concentric, or a mono, or ? - Whites calls it a dual field... & for TDI sensitivity, can you get a target response from a single lead bird shot? The Minelab 8" & Coiltek 6" apparently do (according to the marketing writeups) & if the Whites does also I will try to get the bw 8" round to give a target response also.
