If you are using solvent to soften the coating, you could presumably use electrical heating of the winding to promote drying of the resin. You only need to keep a temperature of 40 degrees celcius of similar, so no damage is going to happen to the winding.

It would be interesting if Carl could provide some real electrical curing data for a typical DD coil winding (TX and RX as they are so different in resistance and physical volume), hopefully there is no 'trade secret'...

On the subject of 'alcohol mist' it just might be worth investigating those ultrasonic 'fogger' devices. They work well with water, how effective they are in other liquids, I don't know. I've worked with these fogger circuits, from memory, a frequency of about 1.2 MHz is used, and a lot of power, too, 10+ watts.

Making fog sounds rather complicated to me.
Simple soaking bathe can be made from few rollers mounted into some vessel.
      Something like this:

I visited the Tesoro factory once, and they were using a wick. White's and FTP as well.

        I don't know, I personally use alcohol for stuff I hand-wind.

If you have seen it first hand, then that's how they are doing it.

I stopped the video in the first post at between 1:00 and 1:10. You can see a gray plastic (air pump) on the left side of the motor controller keypad. Then what appears to be transparent blue air hose going to the clear plastic box that the wire passes through. Maybe it serves some other purpose?

A wick? How? Similar to sponge or...?
            ...
I personally also use alcohol when i hand-wind... several glasses of finest Serbian plum schnapps!
