Is there a "better" way to connect ground return paths for separate Tx & Rx coils (PI)

I may have missed this somewhere in the thread but do you use CAT5 that is stranded or solid?

Had to go look and the CAT5 I use is stranded wires.

Less prone to breakage with flexing. That makes sense.

Thanks Waltr, i was thinking stranded also. Do you guys wind your coil cable around the shaft like vlf, or do you just run it straight up the shaft.
