Hello guys. I have a metal detector on which I constructed a new sensor head, an induction balance. I haven't set her up yet. My question is, can I use this cable. W2930.

Thank you Carl. Since I was on a mobile device, something went wrong. The device will operate at 8.2kHz, and it has an auto-oscillator. I haven't bought the cable yet. In my opinion, the best results would be if there was a cable with two twisted wires for the receiver and two straight ones for the transmitter, but I couldn't find one.Last edited by Ivont; 05-07-2025, 06:13 AM.Comment

Honestly, it's hard to understand the exact construction of this cable from the pics & drawings. But it appears to be dual coax, similar to S-video. It should work for an IB coil.Comment

I currently have the one in the picture. Brown and white on the transmitter and yellow, green on the receiver. Not sure if it's good for IB yet.Comment
