  • The cable that connects the sensor

Hello guys. I have a metal detector on which I constructed a new sensor head, an induction balance. I haven't set her up yet. My question is, can I use this cable. W2930.

Thank you Carl. Since I was on a mobile device, something went wrong. The device will operate at 8.2kHz, and it has an auto-oscillator. I haven't bought the cable yet. I will connect the shielding to the cable braid. Tell me if it's the right cable. What information should I give.

In my opinion, the best results would be if there was a cable with two twisted wires for the receiver and two straight ones for the transmitter, but I couldn't find one.

Is there anyone who can answer me? I've been following the forum for 15 years and I can't believe that no one can answer me. Is there a problem?

Honestly, it's hard to understand the exact construction of this cable from the pics & drawings. But it appears to be dual coax, similar to S-video. It should work for an IB coil.

The cable on the picture and on the drawing are different, on picture I see on the left - 2 wires with shield, on right not striped wire , I believed it is the same inside construction 2 wire and shield.

You ask the question the seller.
If it is wat I thhink that cable is expencive but perfect

Less expensive and no doubt what you get.

Thanks for the answer, but I don't want it with an aluminum shield. How long will it last before it starts making noise?

I currently have the one in the picture. Brown and white on the transmitter and yellow, green on the receiver. Not sure if it's good for IB yet.

Please avoid wires with aluminum screen.

The cable is copper shielded. Here are the capacitances. It seems to work well. I'm already testing it, but when I'm done it will be clear.
