Coil Cable

Anyone looking for coil cable might be interested. I found this all purpose cable that works well on VLF and PI IB coils. It is very flexable, have used it for a number of years without problems. It is dual coax s-video cable made by L-COM. Unfortunately s-video has become obsolete, so these cables are becoming harder to find. I bought some 50 foot (15,4m) cables on ebay for $20. You can make 8 to 12 coils with this length. Be careful with Chinese wire and cable, some is tin/copper plated steel!

There is no inner braid to shield the cables and separate them from each other. Especially with VLF technology, this allows interference to pass from TX to RX.
