coil question

well im new to all of this so this may sound stupid but i have to ask.while reading about coil making last night i seen that the garrett 2500 coil has three coils 1 rx and 2 tx in use at the sametime.if this is so why cant one build a coil with 2 rx and 2 tx operating at the same time like a smaller coil inside of a bigger coil so then you get good sensitivity and depth to..please someone that know explain this for me..thank you for your time

I thought that GTI 2500 has 1 Tx and 2 Rx coils and the most inner one (and smallest) is used for better pinpointing and probably for some depth estimations.
