Tesoro already manufacture a 5.75" concentric and a widescan version for the Cibola. There are a few on eBay at the moment.

Yes. But the question that needs to be asked is could we build a better coil than the factory Tesoro coils?

I certainly think that I might would be up to the challenge in a couple of months (I'm pretty busy at the moment).

But your right - OP should look on ebay - the only problem is that some of the used coils could have cracked cases or have other unknown/unseen problems. On the Tesoros website the coils go for $129.00, which pretty much seems to me to be the average cost of factory coils. Here is another link for a distributor of coils that is $30 cheaper. But I do not know what the construction is like.

It should be noted that the reason coils are so expensive is that they are work/material intensive for anybody to make, imo.
