    Aziz: what program do you use? I would be very glad to get used it in my engineeering studies. I would need still the inner coil reversed photo to think which configuration is better.

    True, but as they are separated further, they become more independent, and less mutually supporting. I aim for a system that comprises 4 coils in a kind of lucky clover design, and with the least possible spacing between them and with no overlapping. Hence the distance specified. Two and two coils in criss-cross will be arranged in antiseries and hooked respectively to Rx and Tx providing a perfect double balanced IB system. And electronics in a center of it all. Works perfectly in my head.

    Hi Davor,

    if you increase the distance of the coils, the "blue dot" region grows. Below is the coil diameter distance of the coils.

    I think you mean the "classical concentric IB" configuration.

    This would be about 20 turns outer TX and 5 turns Bucking coil inner.

    Yes, but no cigar Domains are not joining. There is something happening above, a minimum is pushed somewhat, but I think more slant will not be practical, at least for my purpose. It seem that more slant will not do much.

    This is the very reason I am seeking a visualisation software that will run as smooth as it does for you.

    Anyway, I got what I was looking for: a cold spot between coils to put kit and caboodle for underwater ... thing.

    I kinda hoped to see joining of the fields underneath in a middle a bit more pronounced, but there I have it. If you could be bothered a bit more, could you slant the coils a bit, so that the field domains get a bit more focus in a middle? I have no idea how much will be OK, but I guess just a little, some 10° each or something.

    I'm thinking of a hydrodynamic drag to fit with self-contained MD, completely intrinsic with batteries and all, watertight and balanced to almost float in water to be pulled near seabed or a river bed. The most complicated bit was - where to put electronics. Now I know. Thanks.
