290uh will be fine and your .56ohms will work not perfect but close enough for shielding I encapsulate my coil bundle in polystyrene foam with about 6.5mm or more between the edge of the coil bundle and the shield you can use Aqua-Dag or Electro-dag for shielding if you can get it that is what is used commercially or you can try shielding tape like Scotch24 but made with Stainless Steel mesh or make a shield tape using .2mm or smaller enameled copper wire at 1mm centers you can use PE self adhesive tape even masking tape works OK but you will need to make a jig up to make the tape up I make mine up in 4.5 meter lengths but a big coil may nee a length much more than this the tape is spirally wrapped around the coil leaving a 5mm gap between start and finish .
