The only problem is finding pipe large enough for a medium-to-large size coil. For example, a coil with an 11" diameter will need a very thick pipe.
Is there a way to uniting two sheets to make one sheet large enough for a big coil? maybe not...
I suppose we may always visit toy stores and find plastic toys large/flat enough for our large coils. It shouldn't be a problem salvaging the plastic, now that perdica brought this (obvious) heating technique to our attention...
When you make a mold depending on the thickness of the pipe as if the tube 2 mm thick leave space between 3 mm and if the mold has sharp edges rounded to the PVC does not snap, but feel free to insert in the mold
HI All,
I think I may have another source for PVC in the US. Places like Lowe's & Home Depot have large plastic signage. That gets thrown away when they do a reset. I had some but I dnd't have a use for it so I got rid of it . I have a use for it now though. I had about 4 sheets about 4' x 4'. The one side is white while the other side has graphics on it. The Lowe's where I work just finished a major reset. I may be getting more soon.
