Old School Whites Flagship Detector

Hi everyone, I just picked up a 1992 Whites Spectrum XLT for parts. I got it running again and I am having a blast from the past with this thing. It was really ahead of its time. I had forgotten how good these units were. I remember how disappointed I was when Whites went out of business in 2022. Garrett bought the technology and I was even more disappointed when Garrett did not create a new line of detectors with the Whites technology. The only one they did was the 24K gold machine as far as I know. Im now with Garrett and my main machine is the ATmax
Not interested in any australian, turkish, or chinese machines so dont recommend them. I live in the USA and want American made machines. Please go easy on me in the comments. Have a nice day and Happy Hunting.

There is an interesting report on the XLT I read back in the 2000s, Humanitarian demining report researching off the shelf detectors.
On a return on investment, for me the best return I've ever had.
