  • Discrete Component Logic for novices like me.

When I was a child I had great fun building the intercom circuit in my brothers Philips Electronics construction set. It was amazing and could pick-up the sound of a distant cockerel crowing, quite clearly. There were loads of project circuits, and opening up the box and going through the components was a wonder. I remember the wax coated choke and the tin can transistors in their individual boxes.

Sadly, I never fully absorbed many of the basic principles of electronics. But just now have found a link which I think shows nicely, the basic logic building blocks in their discrete component form.

Hope its of use to someone. Here is the link to Hans Summers webpage, on the subject.
