I though its just ordinary ceramic caps, but i see no polarity, all is non polarity caps

@rips: S for 'spark gap' ? They are often in ceramic packages, quite common on telecomms equipment that plugs into phone lines, where all kinds of surge/lightning strike pulses can occur.

Can i use this 1/8 resistor for most md project?
The tolerance is great even for a carbon resistor

yes. certainly. its 75mW resistor. 0.075W. good for placement instead vertical setting 0.125&0.25W resistors.

my Bara board fits
1 vertical setting of 0.125&0.25W resistors
2 horizontal (tradicional) setting of 0.075W resistors
3 SMD setting resistors, 1206 type, on any side of the board

You can heat all pins of IC's in a second and just pop them out. Power Transistors a snap. Happens so fast the Components do not get so hot.

That kind of sounds good to me, a refillable unit, using lighter fluid, I like such innovations. They work quicker then waiting for the solder iron to warm up when wanting to pull apart out of an electronics board. As shipping costs money, I will be stopping at hardware store to see if they carry it locally.

They work Magic on IC's. Get a pic up under the edge of the ic and Blast all Legs for like a second and most just pop right out. The IC still cool to the touch. Most Power transistors and Three or more leg regulators just grasp by the heat sink and give the solder side a blast. Out they come. Cool.

Thanks, I took silversmithing and lapidary classes when I was younger, and I can make unique jewelry and learned how to make copies of rare coins. There is more to me then just an good looking old guy.... I like making watch bands and very pretty western belt buckles with feathes and leaves, and rare center pieces of rare coins. I am going to search and find a belt buckle snap outfit, as the belts today are riveted and do not have snaps to replace a buckle. That Bison Head is not gold, it is a replica of gold, I used Merlins Gold. The band is a Speigals band from old stock I bought years ago. Not sure you can find those anymore or not. The red wax copies are a copy of a rare Lesher coin worth $15,000.

So you can see I will use them for more then just to remove electronics from scrap boards. Clean the metal, put a small snippet of solder here and there, some solder solution, hit it quickly with the blow torch, and bingo another finished piece of jewelry to sell. I just ran across a man-in-the-moon with a naked lady sitting on his tongue. I am going to try and do a rubber mold of it when I get the piece cleaned up and see what it looks like. I also write booklets on historical things and some of my booklets are being sold by rare book dealers in Amazon, Yahoo, Google, and other websites. Heck I sold them years ago for less then $5.00 and they have prices now up into the hunderds of dollars...

i am building four metal detectors. 1. TGSL 2. Geotech Baracuda 3. Fazlejoo 4. King Cobra. I have acquired schematics and components lists and the gerber file. the most tricky part i experience so far is the purchase of components. There are so many things in the market. I hired services of an expert and acquired the components but i can't find components of king cobra and Baracuda like ICs Transistors and the Diodes. Can you suggest me a shop selling all components of King Cobra and Barracuda.
