I want to use this MC74HC4316A for replacing 4066. If using dual supply the pin 7 should be connected to ground, right? I'm a slow brain, how if I use single supply where does the pin 7 goes? Thanks for any help

Thanks for the answer, but that is for dual supply, but I use different type detector like the old squirrel machine which only have ground (0) and 12V should I have 6V for that reference of pin7?Originally posted by Carl View PostPin 7 is enable-bar, so you have to ground it. I think the question is, do you tie it to ground or VEE? Ground is the answer, although VEE might also work (not sure).

16 pin Vcc to +5V, 8 pin to -5V. the switches are working together with the op amp on full range of supply, despite "0" is artificial ground for the op amp.Originally posted by Op04 View PostMostly detector has -5V---0---5+ that is dual supply, this is single supply machine supplied only by 0--12V

Thank you KT315, I know that, but I'm doing it for blind squirrel machine based, so what Sir Carl pointed is the answer.Originally posted by kt315 View Post

I don’t think so, If you know good coil parameter for this machine, right mosfet, right preamp chip plus chopper stabilized post demod you can reach gold and deep burried cache trust me! Not forget most important thing is timingOriginally posted by kt315 View Postblind squirrel is old circuit, i am in course, with one polar supply. leave it.

Thank you for your suggestion! But, It's not intended for digital, DG412 seem betterOriginally posted by Vadim18 View PostDidnt know about such ic. These are also good alternatives:
DG411, DG412 - conrol voltages isolated from analog path, ideal for mcu
74LVC1G66 at 5.5V 6.2 Ohm, up to 500MHz
