Very fun . Do you think your model might be flawed as it is not a true 1/2 space? Was your model deep enough for the probe spacing? What probe array did you use? What did the apparent resistivity "raw" data look like prior to res2dinv inverse problem? Also, try doing iteration with lower error than %35.

I don't know what to tell you but the data should not look like that. It almost looks like the left side of the res2dinv is upside down. Do you think the numbers on that side were reversed by accident?

    TR locator

Hi. Ok TR Locator is a Russian version of a two box metal detector.
Now, Gary had modified this schematic and posted it here.

I´m working too on the Earth Resistivity Logger by John Becker, not finish yet. (Still working on my TR locator).
May I ask what is the "TR Locator" project?

    Hi Leto,

I think, making stabile high voltage (>36V) charger is difficulty.
Two chargers (2x15 cells battery packs), In my opinion is possible solution.
    Look this sites.

    I use 12.6V 1.3 - 4 A/h lead accu, driving MC34063 based invertors.
Lead accu is easy to charge in any time as well as from car.

    36V charger

ERM project needs +-18 Volt supply..
So it would be nice to have 36 Volts charger to charge both batteries at same time
-- but finding the shematic for it became real problem... --
Battery pack details: 30 cells, NICD, 1800mAh
Any schematic or link will be appreciated.

    Hello Alessandro,
    look at this threads:

    and these pages:

this is just a small selection of usefull links on these theme...
    Most important:
Geophysical data files are really simple to figure out.. with simple notepad editor or better MS Excell you can exchange files between various software. (you'll also need lots of patience with this).

I usually use Snuffler but I export files often to ArcView as this is what I use in my job.

Rael made great job with his software .

    ERM

    Hi Alessandro.
I m also building this ERM, so i want to know if this project puts any problem to you. Does it work?
About the software, i don´t know if there are any otrer that can run with this circuit.
    Regards
    Nelson

    Hi Nelson,
Last question, is possible to have a copy of this poject.
Here is the link to Robert Beck's project:http://geotech.thunting.com/cgi-bin/...erm1/index.dat
May i have your email to ask you a private question?
All members can get my email adress - just click on my nickname Leto above this message.
There is separate thread on Earth Resistivity Logger by John Becker, you can also put any questions there.
