    The file was done by Surfer8 adding coordonates on your file.
    With Vumate, select File > Open Surfer Ascii grid > Out2.grd > Contour >OK>OK
    With left click turn the 3D display

          Which one is better for treasure hunting?

          1. Twin-probe (C2 P2 remain in fixed position and C1 P1 are mobile)

          2. Pole-pole (C1 P1 remain in fixed position and C2 P2 are mobile)

          Are they the same?

              1843 yes they are the same. This method is good for seeing down about 3 feet with the probes set apart at 1 meter. If you open the probes father like 2 meters then the depth will increase.

                NO...they are not the same.

                In the twin-probe method, the fixed probes are spaced VERY CLOSE to each other. Twin probe measures "resistance" in ohms.

                In the Pole-pole method, the fixed probes are space VERY FAR from each other (infinity). Pole-pole can measure "resistivity" in Ohm/meters.
