I'm new in this forum and need an advice about ground modelling using homogeneous layers.
In my work I measure resistivity using the Wenner method in series of measures centered in one point and expanding the separation of electrodes (the "a" parameter) from 4, 8, 16, 32 meters, and replay the measure in an orthogonal direction for verification purposes.
The work consist in generate a 2 layer simplified model that match the real measures as better as possible. This is called 1D inversion.
Are there any software or Matlab script or Python script or anything that can help me in this work?

This software will work with any magnetic or resistive logger as EPE Magnetometer, which makes a suitable CSV or XYZ format files.
For example, Snuffler would show the thermal image from file made by the logger which has a thermal sensor.
These FGM sensors have been around now for quite a while. What is the latest technology? Is there anything better that a hobbyist can afford? It would fun to build something that would map out black sand deposits on a beach.
