c-scope 3mx modification

has anyone ever done a manual threshold modification on the detector before. for some reason c-scope have joined sensitivity and threshold sound into one control on this machine. apparently There is an adjustable pot on the board labelled 'threshold'.

here is a picture of the inside of the machine. can anyone tell me what type of potentiometer you would have to use to do an external mod on this board. thanks in advance.......

use a 100k pot.

The tricky bit will be finding somewhere to mount it - not a lot of room to spare in those enclosures!!

there is space in one side at the back of the caseing. the front wounld of been/looked better but never mined.
