  • what PI to implement with a PIC?

    Hi!

    I´m currently writing a PIC code for a PI detector, but I´m not sure what schematic to use.
    I´ve bin looking at Stuart´s PI so far.... but there might be others that is better.

    The code I´m workin on gives this abilities:
    * 1-16kHz in steps of 1kHz (16 steps)
    * pulsewidth of 30-180us in steps of 10us (16 steps)
    * waittime after pulse: 10 or 15us
    * scantime: 10 or 15us
    * calculated afterwait to fit frequency
    * doublescan 100us after the first scan
    * LED to indicate if frequency is override

    The PIC I´m workin on is a 16F877@20MHz, but I intend to convert it for a 16F84@20MHz aswell.
    Is this of interest?

    Plz give me your thougts about timing etc, and is Stuart´s PI the best to use?

    Hi Morf.
    Stuart is inestable and has some errors in the squematic.I think tiny is better.

      Thanx sergio, but my german isn´t that good. Besides, I think the PCB to Stuart´s PI is correct?
