Thank you, Carl NC. I was glad to assist you. I hope we continue to work together in the future.

Hello everyone,
I am new here and I am still learning how to navigate the platform. I can only see the posts, but I am unable to view members' profiles, see their work, or initiate private conversations. Could you please let me know if I am missing something, or if there is an issue with my account?
I would appreciate your help. Thank you!

I'm testing the Felezjoo discrimination and I've noticed that if you use the Iron Rejedt setting of 25 to 30, only copper and silver enter the non-ferrous zone. However, this only applies to copper, as silver, to truly enter the non-ferrous zone, needs to be very pure, between 725 and 999. Lower-quality silver enters the ferrous zone at those settings. I haven't been able to test gold; I don't have anything I can actually use.

These are some of the tests I've been able to perform, which is why I'm asking if others are experiencing the same thing. I'm using a modified version and want to compare it. Of course, these are tests done in the ground, meaning with buried objects.

Finally, this version is very stable, even with the 30cm spider coil I made. I currently have a 30cm spider coil, a 45cm spider-type coil, a 50cm square coil, and a 1.08mx1.08m square coil.

What he said is that in discrimination tests, the screen is capable of discriminating between different metals. For example, I use tone 7 and perform the discrimination test on the screen, since it's very capable of marking metals like pewter, iron, wire rod, cans, and others as FERRO, and leaving copper as NON-FERRO, along with silver and gold. I don't know about gold because I don't have anything to test it with.
Regarding the false signals, that's due to a bug in the program that I've already fixed. What I want to know is if the online version is capable of the discrimination he mentioned.

My colleague ivconic is more experienced in this matter; he can provide better information if he wishes.

I made 4/5 Felezjoo Pi units and tested them.
The device performed superbly in air tests.
It might be because I haven't mastered the device.
I couldn't resolve the ghost signal issue during ground tests.
It could be due to a counterfeit part.
There may also be factors such as coil winding values.
The device is excellent when it comes to discrimination.
It produces a distinct sound for each type of metal, particularly with tone 11/12.
Thanks to the project creator for sharing such a great circuit with us using just a few components.

I have a question for the friends who finished Felezjoo and that is what is your opinion of the discrimination in the team, for example, is it capable of rejecting tuna cans and aluminum cans, pewter pots, iron and others and leaving the copper pipe in NO-FERRO and the silver.

Yes.

The box is legendary, well done!

Ah, it just happened that way.
For the first time since 2018 (since I have 3D printers) I switched from PLA to PETG and right at the start I had huge problems with the settings in Cura.
I think I'll go back to PLA when I use up this roll of PETG.
The final box looks good, but it needed some extra work after printing.
There was a lot of "stringing" in the print and I can't seem to adjust the parameters to get rid of that problem.
I'm going back to PLA at the first opportunity!

This is the first test to demonstrate some of the discrimination capabilities of this detector.

By the way, this is a PI Metal Detector with the ability to discriminate metals by conductivity. It can be used to search only for more conductive metals like copper, gold, and silver. It's still in the testing phase, but for now, it's able to reject metals like aluminum, iron profiles, nails, rods, pewter, and other metals, which are marked as FERRO. Copper, gold, and silver are marked as NON-FERRO on the screen, making identification much easier.

I should mention that this is a modification I made to the Felezjoo, which is why I'm calling it DW, to make it even better than it already is.

According to the tests I've run, its discrimination is based on conductivity. It's not precise, but it's capable of removing impurities and leaving precious metals like copper, gold, and silver. However, it can't differentiate between them; the discrimination only goes that far.

And in fact, while testing, the 7805 burned out, and I don't know what else happened, but it doesn't matter. I just have to fix it and continue testing. What I've noticed is that using it like this reduces the depth and stability a bit, but it's just a matter of finding the optimal configuration. As soon as I can fix it or build another one, I'll upload videos to document it.

But I want to clarify that this is a version I'm working on, and as I said, I'm calling it DW. It's still in testing, but it's progressing well.
