    Oh dear. Houston, we've got a problem.

    The correct equation is here:

    I believe the following are correct:
    S1 = main sample
    S2 = GB sample
    S3 = EFE sample
    So, which of them is true?
    A1(S1 - S3) - A2 (S3 - S2)
    Or
    A1(S1 - S3) - A2 (S2 - S3)
    Thanks

    Dear Qiaozhi.
    I read your posts about GB. You posted two different posts, please check parameters the in the links.
    I think S2 and S3 in your formula is different, which of them is true?!
    Thanks

    As Carl says, adding a micro would make things a lot easier. In that case you would be better to follow waltr's HH2 version with GB already added.

    Please see attached, i added GB and Gain control (from Mr. Walter schematic) to HH1 Rev. D. Can you tell me your opinion?

    TDI does not have a fixed sound, it has VCO audio. But yes, you can set the Rev D audio to whatever frequency you like.

    You still need EFE sampling. This is where a micro saves a lot of logic chips.

    If you are very experienced in PI design it might be possible to achieve something close to a TDI. If you do not have the experience, then no.

    Thanks dear Walter.
    I tried to follow Carl's book method (attached). I think its method only uses two samples, target and EFE

    Do you think HH1 is able to detect high depth target?

    Exacty....I have detected a soda can at nearly 2 feet down. Got a US large cent coin at 12 inches. Is this what you mean?

    Not sure if that will work. One sampling switch is for target sampling the other is for EFE.
    That is not what I did to add GEB.

    Not HH1 but check my thread on how I do GEB on HH2.
