i have just completed my second tdi pro project in a waterproof housing and modified the battery container to accept four li-ion batteries and ive managed to get the pulse delay down to 8 uS...it has taken me several months on and off to get this project up and running.

thanks guys for your comments....hope i can find some nice items with my tdi's....my wife this year has beaten me hands down with detecting and found several gold rings and me not one gold ring

Hi pustareka...my project is all new and very stable...the 8 uS delay is useful for dry sand but too low for wet sand use...maybe in a few months time i will start a third tdi project with modifications for even better depth but not waterproof next time...i really like the design of GS 5/TDI....i think eric's design is the best all round pulse detector.Originally posted by pustareka View PostComment

no mods on this detector apart from reducing the delay down to 8 uS....this detector is based on GS5 issue 2 and ive added all features found on the tdi pro and it runs on 14.4v li-ion.Comment
