Guy’s that detector was an early collaboration that just was not refined enough, we have another build happening with some new and much much better design elements. As things progress more will be made available here. I just have to be careful as you never know who is watching these posts.

Because it would add credibility to your claims of the "ultimate detector", a very big claim indeed!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence!

I happen to know all four of them. One is a doctor of Electronics, received a doctorate in radio telecommunications,
one has a master's degree and is preparing for a doctorate, one is a doctor of Physics, received a doctorate in
quantum particles and one is a doctor of Chemistry, working at a state institute.
However, not one of the four has so far proven itself in the field of metal detecting. This is one of the attempts.
Apparently they are on the right track. I hope this is enough for a minimum of trust and credibility?
Unfortunately, I am not educated, I am a chef by profession, a kitchen assistant.
Well, I'm not relevant to judge other people's works.
But what I see on the video is enough to make it interesting.
I agree with you though, this definitely can't be the "ultimate" detector, because it's XP Deus... the most ultimate of all times...

Not much to say, it appears to basically work but I couldn't possibly judge performance based on what's shown. But that's almost always the case for bench tests. I do find the flyback interesting, curious to know what causes that and how it can be used.

To me it looks like there is a lot of noise in the power supply...
Although... it's an open secret that LeCroy deliberately adds to the noise...

I felt curious, (mixed with good premonitions) I was intrigued , I took the soldering iron yesterday morning and this afternoon I can say (based on what I saw on the screen of my good old analog oscilloscope ) - congratulations , the idea is great , it works quite intriguingly...In my country we have the following expression ,, there is a lot of bread in this idea " .Detectormods , in your idea there is not only bread, but also cheese , champagne and black caviar .

When you show a circuit board of a surgeon for example (What is the difference between God and the surgeon?
- The difference is that the Lord does not think that he is a surgeon )he doesn't see ,while an electronics specialist sees many things, he can even understand what it is for . So it is with oscillograms. Will you understand what I saw on the oscillogram ? grab the soldering iron , work for two days with the soldering iron and the oscilloscope , show a clip with a similar waveform and then write in this thread . maybe i will tell you what excites me .

Thank you, you are right . I have too little experience with PI - about 17 years . I'm still learning a lot about this technology and my level in this field is quite low . My testing was with a similar oscillogram on detectormods- linear increase in current , flyback (so far standard PI ) . Immediately after flyback I added a high voltage pulse with reverse polarity of the first flyback ( the same length and energy ). Тhey, of course, resemble the ones shown ( full sinusoidal oscillation ) , but it's still something like that .I used DD search head . Observed the reaction of a large stone of pure magnetite and metal objects with different time constants . And therefore my opinion is quite positive .

Looking at the oscillogram the following analogy occurred to me :
-the child has made a big mess and made his mother very angry ;
-she knows that it (the little rascal , mischief maker , monkey ) knows that there will be punishment . The mother doesn't want the kid to run away and having to chase him . Therefore she wants the child to relax -smiling approaches him , she took in air and exhaled it smoothly (relaxation, calmness -the first section of the oscillogram , after she had exhaled all the air from her lungs , 2 strong, sharp slaps follow -one slap with the left hand, the other with the right on the cheeks of the little sniveler (snotmaker ) . Someone will guess why she slaps kid twice . In this waveform (exhalation followed by slaps ) nothing is accidental … something else - I wanted to for about a year see the behavior of targets and ferrites in such ,,double slapping ‘’ - specifically with two half-sinusoidal pulses (but without the impulse that precedes them ) it is no accident that this pulse looks like this... No one can dissuade me that telepathy does not exist. We live in an information field…
