    If you have not try the first version of Delta Pulse either Turkish or from master KT315, just do the first version first,..so if you encounter problem there are a lot

    Yes, sample pulses (sample timing control pulses aka sample pulse train) are coming from the 4538's outputs. They can't be anything else.

    Thank you I will read that. The sample pulses I was referring to are the output from the 14538 monostables which control the 4066 gates, not the actual sample of the coil voltage.

    The sample pulses should be rectangular pulses not square waves. As far as I can understand, the term "square wave" is not applicable for sample pulses of any kind in a P.I detector. I don't know why people use this term.

    I have a Delta Pulse 2. I have assembled it and I am looking for a operation description. What each stage of the circuit does,and how to verify it is working with the scope. I have checked the Tx and I see the Frequency is adjusted by PR1,and the Tx width is adjusted by the Noise pot. Frequency adjusts from 110-140 hz. The Tx width adjusts from 60uS to 300uS. I have also probed P2,and P3 and I see my sample pulse main delay is adjusted by Signal pot from 18uS to 68uS. The secondary sample pulse delay is adjusted by the Sens pot. The pulses are timed correctly and do not overlap at max delay of main sample,and min delay of second sample. The sample pulses are not perfect square waves though,the top is not flat but is pointed. I do not have either of the switches connected. I do not know what type of switch J3 is or which lead is common. I have the schematic,screen print,trace layout,and BOM. I have not seen a operational description though. I will start reading through 150 pages of this thread,in the meanwhile.
