Cool DIY design... I like it. I had never heard of this detector "GADULKA" before and searched the KT315 archive. There was one hit. Here is the circuit diagram, labeled "GADULKA."


During my further search of the archive, I came across almost identical circuit designs named MONTANA ANTON and PROSAT. These may be modern designs of the GADULKA detector.
Does someone has additional informations?

This is "GADULKA". There are many variants of "GADULKA", this is one of them!

In the KT315 archive, the circuit diagram I posted was labeled "GADULKA." Do you know the correct name of this circuit?

Detectors of this type are resonant, but you already know that, they don't have a specific name. Earlier there were several famous masters of this type of detectors. This is a common name, perhaps because of the sound they make - it resembles a gadulka. The gadulka is an old stringed instrument, specific to our region, it sounds hoarse and that's where this analogy comes from.....that's what I think.

The schematic in your post #50 (GADULKA) is full of mistakes - they are endless but this is a problem of the person who posted this schematic in the internet space before years . Also this part of the forum is for PI detectors - not the right place for conversations for VLF type detectors. I hope, here we will discuses hybrid detectors topic.

Hi algan,
Also in the post of the author of AKA HYBRID from 2024 in Bulgarian MD site "www.metaldetecting.eu" , he mentioned that this project not kills Minelab PI projects because the power of his design is in coin's recognition - not for small nuggets. Also GPZ7000 is suitable for Australian fields with very homogenous soils without much trash - not for European conditions. AKA hybrid is good MD but not for all searching cases.

It is interesting for me - after the start date of this topic -11 Feb 2025 - Has anyone else implemented this scheme besides me and what are the results in practice? My tests was very good but only in the air (for now).
